Guess what!??!!?

I´m almost awake and ready to go to work but somehow I´m not in the mood... Still have to. Summer has started nicely and Tommi and Sami are about to get free from the green hell!! We are going to return as soon as we get something done and guess it will be in the end of the summer.

Have fun mid-summer fest!!!

Howdie hoooooow do you wanna die?

Hello all! It´s Aki again!

Tommi and Sami has been in the army two weeks now and still we were able to practice last sunday (though little hangover was in the air). It was fun after two weeks of silencio. Next sunday again and maybe during this week if my stamina lets me go.

Damn this coffee is good! I woke up about 30 mins ago and waiting that the clock hits about three. I have a evening shift in the Prisma of Joensuu. Flackin shait!!!! It´s hot too... spilled coffee on my foot... burns!!!!!!!

Have all of you readers bought your cds? Does anyone read this? I kind of doubt it... I think it is partly my fault because I´ve been lazy and haven't written here for a loooong time. Sorry for that. Again about those cds. Every mother-trucker who has not bought it yet and has a five € in their pocket, wallet or bank account goes to Karjalan musiikki or Levy-eskot or just comes to see me. BUY IT!!! NOW!!. Please

Thats all folks for this time. I´ll finish my coffee and listen to Edguy. Then I think I should play some bass. Thanks all who still are interested about us. YOU ROCK STILL!!!

Give a kiss to yourself on your cheeck. (If you can...)

Salute from Aki

Rock Till The Dawn -Ep release event 12/11/09

Release event in Fever(Joensuu-city)

First of all BIG thanks to visitors, fans, friends and special thanks to Fever's crew! The release event was a lot of fun and the bar was almost crammed. I have to say that after over a year hard work with those 4 songs it felt pretty cool to launch them.

As said the event was very easy-going and I think people really enjoined the music and company. We had also this little quiz and here comes some answers which really made me laught:

" What are the best things about Decended? "

-Music is cutely very tight!

-Tony's Aki-jokes and the handsome members! What else could a girl answer?

-Aki's girlfriend

-Double bassdrum, co-operating instruments

-Olli's belly and Tommi's sixpack!

-The band itself

-Vocalists nice ass!

-Tony's smile, Tommi's chords, Sami's mosh, Petteris's secrecy, Aki's bubinga-wooden Bass, Olli's drumsticks

-Aki is the right answer

-Sexy members and Dukenukem-Tony. Tommi's naked belly

-Music, hot members and great liveshow!

-Aki's hair and laundering

Thanks for the answers! I hope you enjoined the event and liked the music. In January I'm gonna enter to military service with Sami, ..so we are not gonna give any gigs for a while, but we'll see you on the stage not later than next summer! Keep on buing the CD and Roking till the Dawn!

-Tommi

Bar Colonna, Savonlinna

19.09.2009 Savonlinna Bar Colonna

Ending event for the Rock Syksy 09 competition went well. Bar Colonna is a bit small place in the center of Savonlinna. Stage was small but we were able to fit to it well.

Wake up were easier than last time because we did not have to be there as early as last time. After a bit of difficulties to get everyone to wake up we gathered to our lovely practise cellar. This time we had Lari Jalkanen, Markku Saravo and the all mighty Valmet Kuronen with us helping. Getting to bar was an easy task and we hung around there for a while. To this moment we had no idea at what time we supposed to go on stage. We did not know do we have one or two shows… They had suggested to us that we could do two gigs if there were time. No one was stressed about that. So we decided to go and eat.

We found this little kebab place (which name I cannot remember). I have to say it was worst restaurant I have ever visited. They offered us every meal that anyone in there had ordered. Some of those were ordered to go. After a while we got our food. It was good enough.

Back at the bar we unloaded our gear and watched the band before us. When they had finished they gig we put our gear on the stage and tested that everything works. Nothing special to tell about that.

And the gig… It was very fast and kind of chaotic but in a good way. As the gig started we noticed there is 30 persons watching us and 15 of them are our friends and relatives. But there were 4 brave ones who came in front of stage to photograph and to dance. (One of them was, of course, my little brother.) But special thanks to those fans! During the show I continued my lovely hobby on the stage. The getting of the stage. Again I jumped down during High Burning Sun. Damn it was fun again. The set was the same as in Olavinlinna except we left To Tame The Beast out because the lack of time. The Flow is beginning to be our shows grand final.

Here it was again. I give you a quick check of our band. We are practising our songs (plus a new one) for gig in the bar Kellari 30.10. The record that you have been waiting for too long seems to be ready during this year. Cheers and salutes!

Olavinlinna

15.-16.8.2009 Savonlinna, Olavinlinna (with Nightwish)

This is the first blog entry of our band and I’m proud that we got this online finally! Every writing is a personal "diary", so these are not always our band’s opinions. So ROCK ON!!!

15.8.2009

I woke up 4:45 in the freaking morning. And after (almost) well slept night it was fun to start our first overnight trip with our band. Everything went exactly as we planned (except little navigational problems). We arrived to Olavinlinna at 11 o´clock. Nightwish´s roadies were waiting for us and started immediately to move our gear to the castle. They were very nice to us and to all our silly questions.

Nightwish stepped on the stage to do their soundcheck. Then it hit me... We are going play on the same stage with them. Excitement started to grow inside me and I got nervous. When we did the check, it felt it was the best so far on our "career".

I looked the clock. It was 30 minutes to showtime. I started to freak out when I saw there were less than half of the crowd seated. There is nothing harder than winning over seated, half empty (and apparently sober) crowd. I just decided to go there, have a blast and kill my neck. Everyone else thought the same. It works all the time because during the last two songs (Through the Valleys Of Hate and The Flow) crowd started to cheer to us.

After the show we drank few beers and went to sleep to get ready for the second night. The sleeping with Antti and Olli sounded exotic (NOT EROTIC... AT ALL).

16.8.2009

We arrived to Olavinlinna in the noon and felt that we were ready to blow this castle after Nightwish’s last nights awesome show. We didn’t have pyros but we had this freak energy for a whole day. We decided to play the show of our life. Every single one of us were ready for this night.

Everything sounded better than yesterday. From the first note of the show I felt like I had almost physical orgasm. The feeling lasted the whole show. The gig went great. We had fun and I heard afterwards that it showed.

Here was our trip in a nutshell. I still get goosebumbs as I remember the feeling on the stage. The freaking Flow! First taste how things really should be done.

Here is thanks to all and an apology if I forget someone. Thanks to my personal saviour Ari Mustonen to repair my bass in the mid-Friday-night. Nightwish’s road crew, you showed us how things are done when people are pro. You guys ROCK!! Thanks for catering. Those sandwiches saved my day. Big thanks to Tuomas Karhula for making our weekend work. Thanks to Janze and Marko for sound and helping us with the gear. Cheers to our personal road crew, Antti Soila (driving and misc. stuff), Vellu "Valmet" Kuronen (guitar and bass tech) and Hermo Sallinen (drum tech). Finally thanks to everyone who were watching and enjoyed the shows! Give yourself a hug and a kiss on a cheek... if you can.

KEEP ON ROCKING ‘TILL THE DAWN!!!
